The project to replace the bridge rails on the US Highway 101 overcrossing at Olive Mill Road has been completed and is fully opened to two-way traffic.

The overcrossing was damaged in the Montecito flooding in January. The areas submerged by the debris in January were also resurfaced.

It took Caltrans four months to complete the emergency project which cost $1.7 million.
