Santa Maria Area Transit (SMAT) and Breeze will not be running on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th, or on New Year’s Day, Monday, January 1, 2019.
Both comapnies will be back in service December 26th, the day after Christmas.
Buses will also run New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31st.
According to a city press release: SMAT offers bus service within the City of Santa Maria and in Orcutt. The Breeze Bus offers a weekday commuter service with two routes: Route 100 between Santa Maria to Vandenberg Air Force Base and Lompoc, and Route 200 between Santa Maria to Los Alamos, Buellton, and Solvang.
