A bicyclist sustained major injuries after being hit by a car in Atascadero over the weekend.
Atascadero police say it happened at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday on Morro Road near El Camino Real.
The bicyclist was transported to a hospital in San Luis Obispo, according to police. An update on his condition was not immediately available.
No one in the vehicle was injured.
Police say, at this time, it appears the bicyclist was at fault for the collision.
