UPDATE (3:35 p.m.) – Santa Barbara police have located an 11-year-old boy who was reported missing Thursday.
Police say Joey Meraz was found safe and unharmed.
No other information was released.
ORIGINAL STORY (11:41 a.m.) – The Santa Barbara Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a missing 11-year-old.
Joey Meraz is approximately 5’2″ tall and 85 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Meraz is known to frequent Orpet Park, Mackenzie Park and the downtown State Street area.
Anyone with information regarding Meraz’s whereabouts is asked to call Detective Claytor at (805) 897-2340.
