The ninth annual San Luis Obispo Jewish Film Festival kicks off Saturday and is featuring several narrative and documentary films.
The welcoming reception is Saturday at Quality Suites in San Luis Obispo. At the event, people can meet filmmakers and enjoy tasty food and wine. Reception tickets include admission to the 7 p.m. movie screening of Who Will Write our History at Palm Theater.
On Sunday movie-goers can watch Heed the Call and Life is Rich at the Palm Theater.
Want to take your kids, no problem there are several kids screening on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday kids can go to the free screening of Full Court Miracle or School Ties. The movies start at 10:30 a.m. in Palm Theater.
On Sunday the Jewish Film Festival will be playing A Thousand Kisses and Budapest Noir at 1:30 p.m.
