A portion of Highway 246 near Lompoc will be closed this week for bridge repairs.
Work on the Robinson Bridge is scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 7 and wrap up by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, according to Caltrans.
During the work, Highway 246 will be closed eastbound at Highway 1 and westbound at Sweeney Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day.
Caltrans says it should take drivers about ten minutes to take an alternate route around the closure.
