A former iFixit employee has been sentenced to nearly a year in jail for embezzling from the San Luis Obispo-based company.
On Tuesday, Alexandre Soria was ordered to serve 364 days and pay full restitution for the amount he embezzled.
According to the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office, the embezzlement occurred between Oct. 2017 and July 2018.
