The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at a business in Carpinteria.
It happened at about 9:45 p.m. at a business in the 4900 block of Carpinteria Ave.
Sheriff’s officials say an employee of the business called 911 to report they had just been robbed at gunpoint.
No one was hurt.
The robber reportedly took off with some cash.
Deputies searched the area but didn’t find anyone related to the robbery.
