UPDATE (12:15 p.m.) – Amtrak says the tracks north of Ventura will be closed for the rest of the day so Union Pacific Railroad can make repairs.
(11:42 a.m.) – Passengers on board Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner should prepare for some delays Saturday.
Union Pacific inspected the tracks north of Ventura after storm debris was reported there.
Officials say damage was discovered and delays are expected until repairs can be made.
Shortly before 11 a.m., Pacific Surfliner said flash flood warnings in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties were delaying at least one of its trains.
UPDATE: Union Pacific Railroad inspection has revealed some track damage north of #Ventura. Trains 774. 1761 & 763 are being delayed pending repairs. More details to appear here as they become available.
