A car hit a utility pole on Los Osos Valley Rd. near Foothill Blvd. in San Luis Obispo on Saturday, prompting crews to shut down the road.
It happened shortly before 11 a.m.
The crash caused power lines to fall into the roadway. According to PG&E, more than 300 customers in that area were left without power.
The driver reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
It’s unknown when the road will be reopened. At 12:40 p.m., the CHP reported it was expected to be at least two hours.
