A well-known chef will be serving up food once again in Orcutt.
Chef Rick’s Ultimately Fine Foods is set to open at the former location of “The Jetty Restaurant” on E. Foster Road in Orcutt.
Rick Manson is reopening his restaurant, which closed years ago in Santa Maria when he went to work as a chef at the Far Western Tavern in Orcutt.
After leaving the Far Western in 2013, he said he was looking forward to the future of his catering business.
Signs up at the building located off Highway 135 show the business has applied for an alcohol permit.
According to the restaurant’s website, it is “coming soon” and will serve fine American cuisine and have “funky purple napkins.”
