The Paso Robles Police Department has identified the man who died Tuesday night when he was struck by a train as Alan Kulscar, 48, of Paso Robles.
Police said Kulscar was walking northbound in the middle of the tracks when he was struck. The conductor reportedly saw the man and sounded the train’s horn but Kulscar did not move out of the way.
It happened at around 5:15 p.m. about a half-mile south of the Niblick Bridge.
