UPDATE (10:20 a.m.) – Authorities say a vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash in Santa Maria started in Orcutt.
The Honda was reportedly stolen from Santa Maria around 6 a.m. Thursday morning near Broadway. The owner of the vehicle tells KSBY News he came outside and saw it was gone.
The pursuit began after the vehicle was spotted in Orcutt.
The suspect is reportedly 21-years-old and was injured in the crash.
ORIGINAL STORY: A pursuit Thursday morning led to a crash in Santa Maria.
The Santa Maria Fire Department said authorities and first responders were on scene of the crash at Broadway and Donovan as of 9:40 a.m.
Five vehicles were reportedly involved and two people injured.
No other details were immediately available.
