Many Lompoc eateries are offering special dining options this week for the city’s fourth annual Restaurant Week celebration.
The event encourages community members and visitors to indulge at local restaurants. Organizers say at least 19 restaurants have signed up for the occasion and plan to provide prix fixe meals, two-for-one dining options and other specials priced at $20.19 (tax and tip not included) to commemorate the new year.
Restaurant owners say they love the annual event because it gives them a chance to bring in customers who are not familiar with their food.
Tickets or prior purchases are not required for customers to take advantage of the restaurant deals.

The event begins Monday, Feb. 18 and lasts through Sunday, Feb. 24.
