UPDATE (2:34 p.m.) – The Santa Maria Police Department says an at-risk missing man has been located.
The police department says Catarino Cortes-Mendoza, 43, was located and is safe at home.
No other details were released.
ORIGINAL STORY (2:12 a.m.) – Santa Maria police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing man considered to be at-risk.
Catarino Cortes-Mendoza, 43, was last seen by family members early Monday morning. According to police, after an abrupt departure, no one has seen or heard from Mendoza. There is no indication of where he might be at this time.
He was last seen wearing jeans, a blue colored jacket, and orange colored hat. Mendoza is associated with a red 1999 Nissan Frontier, CA 5X71456.
