Surveillance video captures break-in at Highway 46 tasting room

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at the Mission Trail Cider House tasting room.

The tasting room is located at the Jack Ranch on Highway 46 in Cholame.

According to the sheriff’s office, the break-in happened on the night of Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Surveillance video shows two people entering the business and taking money from the cash register. At least one of them appears to have a gun.

Investigators believe the two burglars are juveniles and that they used BB guns to shoot out several windows.

Approximately $400 was taken from the cash register, sheriff’s officials say.
