Lompoc police say a man wanted on suspicion of attempted murder has turned himself in.

Surveillance video of the shooting shows a man getting out of a car with a bat as a white van pulls up. He then falls to the ground as shots are fired.

The apartment was searched and police say they found weapons and stolen tools . Investigators say they believe the stolen tools were being traded for drugs.

They also believe the shooting was drug-related.

Police say the victim was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.
