One person was rescued from their truck Thursday morning when it became stuck in rushing water in San Miguel.

CAL FIRE SLO says they were dispatched to the scene along North River Road just south of Estrella Road at around 5 a.m. to assist the California Highway Patrol.

Video and pictures taken by Jason Brock show the truck stuck on the road that had been overtaken by rushing water.

CAL FIRE crews helped rescue the driver. No injuries were reported.

As of 8 a.m., the road was still closed in the area and officers said the water was still too high to recover the vehicle.

KSBY has reached out to CHP for additional information but has not yet heard back.
