A San Luis Obispo brewery joined in on the celebration of International Women’s Day.
The Central Coast chapter of the Pink Boots Society partnered with Central Coast Brewing and created a special beer.
Pink Boots Society is a national non-profit organization with a mission to encourage women’s education in the beer industry.
“We get to kind of brainstorm and formulate the recipe and come up with a name and decide who we are going to let buy it. And through that, money gets donated to the Pink Boots Society from those brews and from those sales,” explained Annie Fredrickson, Pink Boots Society Chapter Leader.
If you’re interested in trying the Pink Boot Society’s Women’s Day brew, you can visit Valley Brewers in Solvang. Central Coast Brewery will be distributing it.
