Lompoc city leaders are looking ahead and setting goals for the next two years with input from residents.

About 1,000 residents took a survey on the city’s website to address their major concerns and share the changes they want to see in Lompoc.

City officials will use the results of the survey to shape priorities for the 2019-2021 fiscal goals.

“We have not done this type of survey before. We are really trying to engage our community more, go directly to the people and find out what you want to see happening in your city,” said Samantha Scroggin, City of Lompoc Public Information Officer.

The community is invited to a workshop on Saturday, March 9 at 8:30 a.m. at Lompoc City Hall to talk about the results of the survey and continue the goal-setting discussion.
