The Santa Barbara Zoo has offered a new clue to the identity of its new mystery resident that it first posted about earlier this month.
The first picture posted on social media was a close up of a black nose with white fur. The Instagram post caption read, “Psssst…we’ve got a new resident here at the Zoo. Any guesses who?”

The second clue was posted on Sunday, which was an image of the mystery resident’s paw imprint in mud.
The caption for the second clue read, “Clue #2 coming your way! Any more guesses on who our newest addition is here at the Zoo? We’ll be announcing soon!”

The Santa Barbara Zoo has said it will announce what type of animal the mystery resident is in the next few weeks.
