Emergency crews were responding to a crash on southbound Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle hit a pole and went off the road shortly before the Higuera Street offramp at about 8:53 a.m.
The extent of injuries was not immediately known but an ambulance was requested at the scene.
