Vehicle goes off Hwy 101 in SLO, lands upside down

A vehicle was reportedly upside down leaving the driver trapped after going off Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It happened shortly after 7 a.m. in the northbound lanes south of Los Osos Valley Road.

Initial reports indicated the vehicle had hydroplaned, leading to the crash. The driver was unable to get out on their own, traffic logs showed.

No other information was immediately available. An ambulance was requested at the scene.
