City of Paso Robles seeks public input as it updates noise regulation ordinance

The City of Paso Robles is asking for public input as they prepare a new noise ordinance and general noise element plan for 2019.

The noise element is a policy framework for noise in Paso Robles. It identifies and addresses noise from places throughout the city like airports, car traffic and rail operations.  The city says the noise ordinance will establish the standards noise sources must obtain while operating.

In order to get public input on this, the city is hosting a “study session” on Tuesday, April 9 from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m at the Library Conference Center.

They say the session will have a presentation of the noise element and noise ordinance drafts and will also give people an opportunity to give the city feedback as they prepare for the final versions of the documents.

The final version of these documents will be presented to the City of Paso Robles Planning Commission and city council later this year.
