The Santa Barbara Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an attack outside a bar last year.

The incident reportedly occurred in the early morning hours of Nov. 7, 2018, behind O’Malley’s Bar located at 523 State St.

Police say the victim and suspect did not know each other before the attack and it’s unclear what motivated it.

The suspect was reportedly accompanied by a black man known by the name “Kenny.”

Anyone who believes they can identify either of these men is urged to contact Det. Andre Miller at (805) 897-2346 or Anonymous tips can be made by calling (805) 897-2386.
