Motorcyclists across the Central Coast will honor the life of Matthew Frank, known as the SLO Stringer, during a memorial ride on Sunday.
The ride will honor Frank, who died in a car accident in 2017 while responding to a structure fire in Atascadero.
This is the second year a local group of riders have set up the commemorative event.
Riders will also honor the life of Five Cities Reserve Firefighter, Scott Corsiglia, who died in a motorcycle accident in March of 2018.
All who want to participate in the motorcycle ride will gather at the location of Frank’s former motorcycle shop in San Luis Obispo at 9 a.m.
The ride is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
