The Santa Maria Police Department arrested a man Saturday afternoon, who they suspected of stealing a vehicle.
According to the police department, an officer was patrolling the area of Stowell Road and Blosser Road around 11:25 a.m. Saturday, when he spotted the suspected stolen 2003 black Ford expedition at the parking lot of a 7-Eleven.
Police said they confronted the person in the vehicle and arrested him under suspicion of stealing the car.
Police said no force was used to arrest the man.
