The City of Santa Maria Public Library is partnering with the Santa Barbara County Public Defender’s Office and nonprofit “OneJustice” to provide a free criminal record clearance clinic to community members.
People interested in this free service can make an appointment with OneJustice by calling (323) 739-8093.
During the clinic, individuals with appointments will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with volunteer attorneys to complete the criminal record expungement and Proposition 47 reduction process.
The event will be held at the City of Santa Maria Public Library, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Friday, May 3. The Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.
