Central Coast homeowners with ambitious summer improvement projects linked up with local businesses this weekend to make those dreams a reality.
The SLO Inspired Home and Garden Expo at the Alex Madonna Expo Center wrapped up on Sunday with businesses locking in projects for the summer.
Over 100 local home improvement experts came together to get the ball rolling on renovations.
One growing trend, especially for summer, is drought resistant gardens and landscaping.
“To make your yard more of a drought resistant yard is a great way to save water and reduce costs,” Gilman Carr said of Central Coast Landscape Products. “They’re doing a lot more stone and a lot more barks.”
