Posted

The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees has chosen Dr. Curt Dubost to lead the district as superintendent.

Currently, Dr. Dubost serves as superintendent of the San Miguel Joint Union School District. He was superintendent of the Templeton Unified School District from 1992 to 2002 and superintendent of the Taft Unified School District from 2002 to 2007.

The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District says more than 30 candidates applied for the open position.

The previous superintendent, Chris Williams, abruptly resigned in December. Dr. Julian Crocker has been serving as interim superintendent.

The Board of Trustees is expected to approve Dubost’s contract at their May 14 meeting.
