A man wanted in Los Angeles County on suspicion of sex crimes with a minor was arrested Thursday in Santa Maria, according to police.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s investigators reportedly contacted the Santa Maria Police Department for help in locating and arresting Frank Sotelo, who police say has been a Santa Maria resident for more than five years.
He was wanted on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault of a minor 10 years of age or younger and sexual assault of a minor by use of force, duress, menace, or fear.
Santa Maria police say “based upon the circumstances and pattern of criminal conduct,” detectives are concerned there could be other victims in the Santa Maria area.
