A military fuel service tanker skidded off the Highway 101 freeway on Friday, causing a five hour roadblock.
Officials sent details of the incident on Saturday. The accident happened on the California Boulevard off-ramp in San Luis Obispo. It crashed into a roadside fence.
No one was injured and no fuel spillage occurred, according to 91st TD at Fort Hunter Liggett.
The fuel truck was the trail vehicle for a convoy from the 2220th Transportation Company, 1120th Transportation Battalion out of Tucson, Arizona, conducting routine driver’s training during the annual Combat Support Training Exercise held here.
California Highway Patrol was on scene to control traffic and gather accident details. Some damage to the fence was reported.
