The annual Pismo Camper Show at the Pismo Coast Village RV Park is a blast from the past, featuring campers built more than 50 years ago.
Each camper has its own personality, some vibrant colors, others with some groovy style.
For many of the owners, campers are a way of life.
People from all across the state made the journey to the central coast to show off their home away from home.
“Some freedom, no reservations, go where you’re going and stay where you wanna stay – that’s what we like. We like to roam around and enjoy multiple places.. staying home is no fun,” said Norman Guimonde, a Sherman Oaks resident.
This is the 11th year for the event and organizers have no plans of stopping.
The show lasts through Sunday.
