Santa Maria City Council to consider new townhome development

Posted at 3:09 PM, May 20, 2019

The Santa Maria City Council is considering an 85-unit townhome community at Blosser Rd. and Carmen Ln.

The SerraMonte Townhomes project would be on a 6.5-acre portion of a 7.7-acre site. The remaining 1.2-acre parcel is currently home to Quintron, a communication systems manufacturer.

The project is currently zoned for the establishment of small businesses like bakeries, grocery stores and restaurants and industrial, manufacturing and non-public offices.

In order for the project to move forward, the city would need to amend that zoning.

The project will be discussed at the Tuesday, May 21 council meeting. Click here to read the full council agenda report.
