Posted

The City of San Luis Obispo is asking for feedback regarding the future of parks and recreation in the city.

Workshops are planned for June 5 at the Ludwick Community Center where the San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department and consultant WRT will share information about the Community Assessment report, which was last updated in 2001.

The Community Assessment report will be presented briefly at the beginning of each workshop session. The community will be asked to comment on the future of the parks, recreation and facility’s plans within the city for the next 20 years.

The department hopes for additional input on the following places:
SLO Swim Center
Sinsheimer Park
Sinsheimer Stadium
Damon Garcia Sports Complex
Laguna Lake Park and dog area
Jack House Gardens
SLO Senior Center
Priorities for neighborhoods

The workshops will be held at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

People of all ages are encouraged to participate.
