Paso Robles police say a man found dead on the railroad tracks last Friday died of natural causes and foul play is not suspected.

He has been identified as Donald Frank Hughes, 70, of Paso Robles.

Hughes’ body was found on the morning of May 17 near Pine and 6th Street.

Police said he had not been struck by a train. Rather, they said it appeared he may have fallen off his bike and hit his head.

Police are continuing to investigate and ask anyone with information about this incident to call the Paso Robles Police Department at (805) 237-6464.
