Firefighters responded to a small fire at Atascadero High School on Thursday.
It broke out at about 9:30 a.m. in a bathroom.
Firefighters say they arrived to find the bathroom filled with black smoke and a small fire burning on the floor between two bathroom sinks.
The fire was quickly extinguished.
Fire officials say the fire caused about $500 worth of damage.
