San Luis Obispo libraries to offer free lunch for kids this summer

The San Luis Obispo Library System will launch its free lunch program for kids 18 and under this summer.

Starting June 11, the Nipomo Library, San Luis Obispo Library and Morro Bay Libraries will offer free lunches every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Each library will serve meals at these times:

  • Nipomo Library, 12:00 – 12:45 p.m.
  • San Luis Obispo, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Morro Bay Library, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

San Luis Obispo Library, Morro Bay Library and San Luis Coastal Meal Services will provide a free barbeque with live music and children’s farmer’s markets on June 11-12.

Morro Bay Library, June 11 1-3 p.m.

San Luis Obispo and Nipomo Libraries, June 12 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Lunch at the Library is a project of the California Library Association. Lunches will be served on a first come, first served basis. There is no registration required for the meal offerings.
