UPDATE (5:30 p.m.) – The crash has been cleared.
(4:59 p.m.) – Emergency crews were responding to a vehicle crash and fire on Highway 101 in Templeton Thursday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 4:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes near the Las Tablas Rd. offramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, as many as three vehicles were involved. One of the vehicles reportedly rolled over and another caught fire.
CAL FIRE was being called to the scene to help put out the flames.
Drivers in the area should expect traffic and take caution while passing through the area.
