A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Lompoc earlier this week that police say is believed to be gang-related.

It happened Wednesday afternoon on Q Street near West Apple Avenue.

A home in the area was hit by several bullets, which went through an interior wall and nearly struck a woman asleep inside, according to police.

Lompoc police on Friday announced the arrest of a 17-year-old. They say when he was located earlier in the day, ammunition and two firearms were found and they believe one of the guns was used in the shooting.

The teen is one of four arrested in connection with the case.

An 18-year-old and two juveniles were arrested Wednesday shortly after the shooting. All are documented gang members, according to police.

Police say there are no outstanding suspects and a rival gang member was the intended target of the shooting.
