Cheese lovers were delighted at Saturday’s inaugural grilled cheese festival in San Luis Obispo.
KSBY-TV news anchors Richard Gearhart and Carina Corral had the honor of being among those judging these tasty recipes at Laguna Lake Park.

These aren’t your average grilled cheeses, many came with odd ball toppings like apples, bacon, and cookie butter.
The Central Coast’s chefs melted creativity into their unique creations.
This event was not just about tickling the tastebuds. The money raised from the $60 general admission ticket benefit Restorative Partners, which helps reduce recidivism rates by working directly with inmates at the San Luis Obispo County jail.
