UPDATE (4:45 p.m.) – The driver involved in a rollover crash south of San Luis Obispo Wednesday afternoon says he was traveling southbound when he came upon slow traffic, sneezed, and when he looked up he was unable to stop in time.
He slammed on the brakes and veered into the hillside, causing the vehicle to roll over.
The driver was reportedly not injured and no other vehicles were involved.
(4:06 p.m.) – Southbound Highway 101 through San Luis Obispo was backed up Wednesday afternoon because of a rollover crash.
It happened at about 3:40 p.m. on the right shoulder of the Highway near the S. Higuera St. offramp.
Drivers traveling south out of San Luis Obispo should expect delays or take an alternate route.
