The cloudy conditions that clung to the coast Thursday morning will clear out as fresh to strong winds move in.

Temperatures across the Central Coast will cool off some on Friday with the winds but temperatures will climb starting Saturday into Monday as higher pressure returns to the region.

Inland areas like Paso Robles and Atascadero will see triple digit temps, while coastal valley will hit mid to high 80s. Beaches will range between the high 70s and low 80s with the warmest time of day being the late morning hours.

Onshore flow will bring cooler marine air to the shoreline Friday afternoon.

Southeast winds will impact the inner waters south Santa Barbara each morning of the weekend.

PG&E fire index Thursday was at medium levels along the coast and coastal valleys but far inland areas are considered high.

A high fire index is expected Friday through Sunday throughout the central coast.
