The County of San Luis Obispo Department Public Works will activate a new traffic light at the intersection of South Bay Boulevard and Nipomo Avenue in Los Osos.
The traffic signal will be activated on Friday at 10 a.m.
The work to create the traffic signal was paid for in part by Urban State Highway Accounts, Los Osos Road Improvement Fee Funds and the San Luis Obispo County Roads Fund.
The project cost approximately $345,000.
Drivers should be aware of some slight delays as crews test out the new system.
