No one was hurt when a car crashed into the Lompoc Valley Cardiovascular Center on Monday.
According to Lompoc Fire Department officials, the driver was backing out of a parking space and accidentally accelerated into the building.
The driver was uninjured and an office employee happened to be away from the front desk at the time of the accident, officials said.
The building reportedly sustained moderate damage.
The Lompoc Valley Cardiovascular Center is located in the 100 block of N. 3rd Street.
