Plant lovers are invited to a succulent exchange at the Santa Maria Public Library on Saturday, June 15.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring pest-free clippings of their favorite succulents to trade with others or to share tips with fellow gardeners.
With the summer months ahead, succulents are great plants to take care of because they require a minimum amount of water and grow easily without too much maintenance. They can be found in several styles, shapes and colors.
The succulent exchange is free to the public.
The library is located at 421 S. McClelland Street in Santa Maria.
