Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s investigators reportedly seized more than 3,000 pounds of processed cannabis that they believe was grown and harvested illegally.
The investigation was conducted on June 10 at a site in the 5200 block of Shoreline Dr. in Goleta.
Sheriff’s officials say the facility was formerly operated under a temporary state cannabis license which had expired and no progress was made to renew it.
Despite the expired license, investigators say the operator continued to cultivate, harvest and sell the cannabis.
Detectives were reportedly unable to make contact with the operator.
