A local restaurant has been named in USA Today’s Top 25 Pizza joints in America.
Petra Mediterranean Pizza and Grill made number 24 on the list.
A large portion of their menu is made up of Middle Eastern street food such as gyros, falafel, kebabs and pita sandwiches.
According to USA Today, it’s their unique pizza selection that earns its place on the list.
When it comes to his passion for pizza, the owner of Petra Todd Aburashed says, “You have to have a lot of love and care, you have to be generous.”
Aburashed says he is thankful to the San Luis Obispo community.
Petra’s is located at 1210 Higuera St. in San Luis Obispo.
