After a long closure, the Cuesta College Aquatics Center is opening up just in time for summer.
The center is back open following a recent expansion of the facility.
It will be available for Cuesta College athletes as well as community members.
The facility provides a state-of-the-art pool for everyone to enjoy, from sports like swimming and water polo to water aerobics and swim lessons.
“It’s not only for athletics. In the summer, we will have community swim lessons and they have programs and aquakinetics,” said Bob Mariucci, Cuesta College Director of Athletics. “Just a variety of different programs that utilize this pool, which is awesome, which is why I’m so excited for Cuesta College and the community and to have the opportunity to open this brand new pool.”
The aquatics center is now open on Cuesta College’s San Luis Obispo campus.
