The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a weekend shooting that left one man in the hospital.
It happened at about 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of N. Mary Dr.
Police say as officers arrived in the area to investigate, a victim showed up at Marian Regional Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Detectives believe the shooting is gang-related.
